Glad to see this work is finally online, as an important follow up study of my PhD project on ESR1 mutations. It was a great collaborative and mentoring experience for me. Congrats to all!

A realtime picture from the National Academy of Sciences Induction Ceremony this evening. It is a milestone night for both Nelly and our lab. We will dedicate all we have to continue fighting against breast cancer.

🐙 ALERT! So when you put an octopus in cold water it recodes 13,000 codons (1/3 of all recoding sites!) via massive RNA editing in the brain!! And this apparently alters the function of synaptic proteins! 🤯🤯🤯 That’s insane (but not for the octopus) cell.com/cell/fulltext/…

We are very happy to see graduate student Ben from our lab successfully defended his PhD thesis last week. Ben works on KDM5 modulator in breast cancer over the last fives years. Congrats, Dr. Diciaccio! And looking forward to the paper. 🎓

It was an excellent experience for me to involve in the bioinformatic and correlative study of this important HER2+ breast cancer clinical trial and led this published work. It is imperative to explore alternative treatment options for patients with HER2-HET breast cancer.

Thrilled to see our paper on KMT2C/2D in TNBC metastasis is out today in Nature Cell Biology. We found loss of KMT2C/2D promotes brain metastasis via KDM6A actviation and MMP3 upregulation. Congrats to our twitterless Marco and all the coauthors! nature.com/articles/s4155…

We're excited to share that our study on aging has been published today in Cancer Cell. We used rat model to identify midkine as a promising driver in breast cancer tumorigenesis. Kudos to all the coauthors especially Pengze ! cell.com/cancer-cell/fu…

I am immensely proud of Steffi for receiving this award for her breast cancer research, particularly #lobular. She has dedicated her career to this goal and paid special attention to trainees and the involvement of advocates. See her talk at SABCS #BCSM

We are thrilled to see our study about ZBTB7A in basal breast cancer is out in Cell Reports . We identified ZBTB7A as an novel interactor and regulator of KDM5 using CRISPR screen, and characterized its functional impact on NFkB pathway. Congrats to all!

Glad to share our latest work on The EstroGene2.0 database for endocrine therapy response and resistance in breast cancer models, now published in npj Journals #npjBCancer, shorturl.at/WPiJK, with the super-multifunctional browser estrogeneii.web.app

It was great to see 15 different estrogen response signatures derived from our EstroGene database are now available at MSigDB. Try it out by searching “LI_ESTROGENE” and you will see how diverse ER signaling can be.

Our study on histone tail cleavage is out today in Nature Genetics . We found KDM4C prevents CTSL-mediated histone H3 tail clipping by modulating its recruiter GRHL2, reducing oxidative stress and promoting basal tumor growth. Congrats to Vaciry Kornelia Polyak nature.com/articles/s4158…
