Spent the day in meetings I was invited to during other meetings. Shouldn’t the reward for going to one meeting be fewer meetings? “Thanks for coming to my meeting! As a reward, how about you skip the next one?” But also managed to sneak in a walk with my buddy. Can’t complain.

Last night, International Thwaites Glacier Collaboration hit the New York red carpet, in the guise of britschmidtney and Peter Davis 🤩 They led the publication of results from an unprecedented expedition to measure melting under the Thwaites Glacier in West Antarctica.

I have been contributing to the patreon for the Worst Journey in the World graphic novel (which I love, and highly, highly recommend to everyone). I will attest that the insight into the creation of this work of art has been illuminating. The research process is amazing!
