Our paper on phase separation of multicomponent mixtures with higher-order interactions is published! Congratulations Chengjie Luo 🎉
The lecture notes on "Chemically Active Droplets" are now available on arxiv: arxiv.org/abs/2407.09859. Thanks again for the amazing Boulder Summer School students and the organizers Andela Saric, Gardel Lab, Shiladitya Banerjee, and Laboratory of Soft and Living Materials!
Sharing this cool collaboration with Zwicker Group out today in Science Advances! Using the 3D spatial information of >1,000 precancers from 48 human pancreas samples, we developed a mathematical growth model for pancreatic precancer growth: science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
This interdisciplinary work emerged from a short email with curious data, which sparked deeper investigations. Thanks to Ulrich Schwarz (also @ulrichschwarz.bsky.social) for putting us in touch!
It’s amazing to see experimental evidence for a mechanism we conceived about a decade ago! Congratulations to Job Boekhoven and Mesoscopic Physics of Life (MPol) - Weber Group – this is surely just the beginning of an exciting scientific journey! 🎉
⏰Do you have a minute?⏰ Chengjie Lou is a postdoctoral researcher in the Zwicker Group at MPI-DS. Let's spend a minute with him and join his work on patterns created by phase separation! youtube.com/watch?v=XSqxw7… Chengjie Luo #DYHAM
Filipe Thewes 🇧🇷 joined our group this week! After a successful PhD with Peter Sollich at Uni Göttingen, he moved up the hill to help us understand multicomponent phase separation. Welcome aboard! 🥳
