Our review of recent developments in computational structural biology is out in Current Opinion/Research in Structural Biology: tinyurl.com/MBCOSB. For a tweetorial from Bálint Mészáros please see tinyurl.com/COSBtweet. Grateful for the support of St. Jude Research and Structural Biology at St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Last week I was fortunate to be invited to the short linear motif (#SLiM) meeting at EMBL Heidelberg by Toby Gibson, who is retiring. The #conference was very stimulating and I learnt a lot. I'm grateful I could participate and present a poster on #degron masking and degronons.

The MIADE paper defining minimum information guidelines for the structural IDP field is out today in Nature Methods. I'm so thankful to the MIADE team, Bálint Mészáros, Kim, Nicolas Palopoli, Fede, Andras and Eduardo, for helping push the project to completion. rdcu.be/dfWJw

Time to get the disordered protein field a bit more ordered! We propose guidelines on how to describe IDP experiments to better serve experimental researchers, computational biologists, and database/method developers. This was a fun community wide effort led by Short Linear Motif team

Minimum Information About Disorder Experiments (MIADE) guidelines provide community recommendations on the minimum information that should be reported with experiments that structurally characterize intrinsically disordered proteins or regions. Short Linear Motif team nature.com/articles/s4159…

For an engaging summary and discussion of the implications from the work from Alex Gunnarsson & M. Madan Babu about variant accessibility in Science Advances, see here: stjude.org/media-resource…
