We are proud to be able to display the solo exhibition ‘hand/made/held/ground’ by Brenda L Croft. Croft was able to recreate the jimpila (spearheads) and kurrwa (axeheads) in lead crystal and glass.

After being closed for over three months, we are excited to announce that our Nolan Gallery will be reopening tomorrow at CMAG! We’re just adding some finishing touches before you all come in to explore Nolan’s motivations and the narrative that he developed with this series.

Meet Peppina – the subject of four paintings by Mandy Martin in our current exhibition. With our focus on the stories and art made in Canberra, we are one of the lucky few galleries that have the opportunity to discover such relationships in the community with our exhibitions.

We’ve got a new work of art in our CMAG on the Square space proudly named ‘Flower Power’ by Canberran artist Delene White. White presents a sculptural garden of giant cyclamens that sway and bow, with their gentle light offering a welcoming glow of hope.
