All set! The Early Career Researchers of Developmental Biology & Cancer proudly present this year’s Otto Wolff Symposium. Join us on Monday at Kennedy Lecture Theater. 3MTs, panel discussions and prizes included!
Thoroughly enjoyed todays Developmental Biology & Cancer ECR symposium! I presented my ongoing PhD work investigating the role of Indian hedgehog in kidney development. Many thanks to the DBC ECRC for organising such a great day!
Please RT 🚨 JOB OPPORTUNITY 🚨 we are looking for a postdoc to study #lymphatics in #kidney development, health + disease. You’ll get to use #singlecell technologies & #3D imaging (👇) in a highly collaborative lab UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. Apply before 30/06: jobs.ac.uk/job/CQK727/res…
Congratulations to our post doc Will Mason for publishing in Scientific Reports ! A great achievement. In his first paper, Will investigates an exciting #GeneTherapy approach to tackle glomerular disease🔬. Check it out: nature.com/articles/s4159… #KidneyDisease #AcademicTwitter
Our PhD student Lauren Russell recently came runner up in the @UCL Doctoral School annual competition for her poster entitled "Indian hedgehog: A key player in kidney development?" Congratulations Lauren 🦔🦔
💫 NEW PREPRINT💫 We used #singlecell to unravel glomerular cell pathology & crosstalk in 🐁 modelling paediatric steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome. Thanks UCL Child Health Kidney Lab, @asmasonomics & Alice Piapi! Excited to present American Society of Nephrology #KidneyWk! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Exciting to be at American Society of Nephrology #Kidneywk presenting our latest research on human kidney lymphatic vessels in transplant rejection. Come join us at the Transplantation Basic Science session at 4:30pm in W314!
Come visit our posters this morning at American Society of Nephrology #kidneywk ✨
Thoroughly enjoyed presenting my UCL Child Health Kidney Lab PhD project about targeting the glomerulus with nanocomplexes at American Society of Nephrology #KidneyWk ! So nice to interact with attendees from all over the world! 😁
Had some great discussions about 🦔 signalling in kidney development at my first American Society of Nephrology #KidneyWk. Thanks to everyone who came by my poster to chat, have some interesting new ideas to take forward in my PhD 🙏🏼
If you’re at American Society of Nephrology #KidneyWk and hang around till the last talk of the Genetics, Development & Therapies session starting at 4:30 in W308, I’ll share our unpublished results tracing kidney #lymphatics back to their (unexpected) developmental origins.
Had a fantastic time presenting the work from our latest preprint at American Society of Nephrology #Kidneywk, met some great people and got some exciting ideas! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
A massive well done to all our presenters today, especially our winners, Tina Karapouliou, Gideon Pomeranz, Dominic Scaglioni, Lauren Russell and Tarek Saleh! An excellent feat and brilliant research! (And a pat on the back for our DBC ECRC team!)
Lauren Russell has just kicked off the 24th European Nephrogenesis workshop with a great talk about Indian hedgehog in kidney development
