What are IfA grad students up to this summer? Leslie Spencer, @UVMFoodSystems PhD candidate, is buzzing around Vermont surveying pollinators on blueberry farms as part of a larger project about wild bee conservation, integrated pest management, and climate resilience.

The Vermont Pollinator Working Group organized “Pollinator Celebration Day” this past weekend, to mark the end of National Pollinator Week. Taylor Ricketts gave a keynote about native bees & Leslie Spencer taught attendees about gardening for native pollinators.
