Sabelo Mbokazi, Head of Labour, Employment & #Migration at the African Union Commission, pointed out that #gender dynamics are an important component of #labor migration patterns, as 46.6 percent of labor migrants are #women, many of whom lack legal protection.

At the launch of "Creating Smarter Borders: Enhancing Regular & Safe Mobility Pathways, Connectivity & Integration in Africa through Digitization” at IOM at African Union. I stressed that Africa must levarage on the immense opportunities technology offers to enhance Migration Governance.


Mr. Hervé Kuate, Rep. of UNHCR Rep to AU & ECA, paid a courtesy call on H.E Amma A. Twum-Amoah. Their discussion underscored the significance & timely establishment of the African Humanitarian Agency. They also discussed health-humanitarian-social devt nexus & explored areas of mutual interest.


In line with the recommendations of the “Doha Dialogue” held in May 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣, H.E Amma A. Twum-Amoah met with H.E Saad bin Mubarak Al-Naimi, Permanent Representative of Qatar🇶🇦 to the African Union.
