“It was scary, loud, uncomfortable” This week during Dementia Action Week, many of our staff took part in a virtual dementia experience which provided them with an opportunity to understand how being admitted to hospital may feel to a patient living with dementia.

Becoming more dementia friendly is a huge priority for us as a Health Board so that we can provide a better experience for our patients and their families. Thank you to the team for all their hard work on this unique experience as part of Dementia Action Week.
