Something I really want to show very clearly in my book is the tension between desire and faith. the pull between body and spirit. how yearning can look in the face of divinity and try to challenge it. it’s one of the most complex, painful, revealing experiences I’ve ever had

I’ve been really happy since I came home and seeing my mummy every day is like top two reasons. I just love being around her.

Went to a job for my mummy today and the way people just walk up to me and know I’m her daughter because of my face. I love it

Today’s book club meeting with Noisy Streetss and wow. No doubt about achieving our goal of building a strong community of African literary book lovers. The stories that were shared, jokes exchanged and new perspectives were my best thing. Thank you for your work Noisy Streetss
