Interesting note Canutillo boys hoops player Austin Bonilla joins his sister Alyssa Bonilla as area champs in senior year. In 2021, Alyssa led the Eagles to area win vs Amarillo High and this year Austin helped CHS past Lubbock Cooper. Both are point guards.
