Let’s be real — rankings aren’t what gets you recruited. I’ve talked to 103 college coaches in person. They care about players who are emailing them. Players recommended by people they trust. Not who has the best PG grade or who won the tournament. Most coaches told me

"Coach didn’t reply to my email, so I didn’t want to bother him…” Nah. That’s a reason why you’re not getting recruited. Coaches aren’t ignoring you—they’re buried in emails and have a LOT on their plate when it comes to running their program. Your name probably isn’t going to

Sad conversation in Gerogia They spent $5,000 chasing a dream… and not a single coach showed up. A mom told me her son gave everything to this game. His coach hyped this tournament up as “the biggest week of his life.” So they flew down, paid the money, showed up… And the

Should you go to showcases?? Short answer no “But there’s gonna be a ton of schools at this showcase!” Cool. That still doesn’t mean they’re watching you. Coaches don’t show up to find new players (although if there's a REAL stud, that's an exception)—they show up to confirm

2025 is the easiest time in history to get Seen. You can DM a coach. Post a video. Send an email. Get seen by thousands—in seconds. Between social media, texting, email, and video… You’ve got everything you need to put yourself in front of the right people. You don’t need

None of you are gonna do this and it exactly why it works. You want to get on a coaches radar? Pick up the phone. Give them a call. You’d be surprised how often you'll actually be able to speak with them. I used to do this in high school when I had zero traction. No offers.

Yes—you can get recruited at a college camp. But let’s be honest… You probably won’t. Coaches do offer players at their camps. But it’s usually 1 or 2 guys out of 200+. That’s less than a 1% shot. So before you drop $400 thinking this is your golden ticket, ask yourself:

Want to know if you’re a fit for a school? Go to their roster, find a player in your position, and look up their high school stats and background. If you stack up, that’s your green light. That’s how you build a smart target list.

If your recruiting strategy is “play in as many tourneys as possible”… you don’t have a strategy. Every weekend you’re packing the car, driving 6 hours, dropping $500+ —all to “get seen.” But truthfully, nobody’s watching you at most of these tournaments.... Take a step back.
