As a 1st year teacher, I often heard veteran teachers state that everything in edu repeats. That’s how I feel about the science of reading. It’s not new research. It’s the methodology I was taught as an undergrad in the late 90s. It’s the only way I know how to teach reading 🤷🏾‍♂️
