Since the launch of U.S. President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) in Cameroon 🇨🇲 in 2017, the malaria mortality rate has declined by 15%, according to the WHO. The recent disruptions to PMI programming have suspended malaria prevention campaigns in Cameroon and could reverse years of progress against this disease.
