Down Syndrome Ireland is deeply saddened by the passing of athlete Pat Dorgan. A Special Olympics medal-winner at table tennis, Pat made a notable breakthrough at the 2007 games in China, and clinched gold at the European games in 2014.

At a time when Irish sports stars are shining, no one was brighter than this guy - a top competitor and a beautiful person. Condolences to his large and loving family and many friends.
