gaming has changed now, all the information is available online and you can counter/Stop comp players with SOME effort . If you still let “cheese” moves ruin your experience you haven’t made any efforts to get better .

I respect you big time for this. You choose how you want to play and still win . That is skill . Most players give up when they see meta and just call it “cheese” The skill gap is your defense not the meta moves or Jumpshot

If 2k makes post scoring overpowered or Keeps limiting dribble moves every comp player will start post scoring . Comp players aren’t just “dribble gods” They will do whatever it takes to win, just like in nba 2k17 when 90% of the teams used a post scorer

People who L2 Cheese aren’t comp . They are L2 cheesing for A nice player card and rep . The true comp players don’t L2 Cheese & the Sim ball players don’t either. For some reason a lot of people consider the L2 Users Comp

I truly feel like if nba 2k was a first person game with a first person camera view …. every playstyle would be viable & people would run so many different sets & Plays .

I feel like first person 2k would just be more stressful and add a higher skill gap . You need to communicate on screens and plays . Dribble gods would struggle with double teams , so would post scorers . A first person 2k will be the biggest skill gap game ever . + I like

Can never compare the 2 . Older guards competed for millions of dollars in person + had to play on defensive 2ks . There was actual pressure to playing guard . Guard is now fun and easy to play . I would say these new guards have the talent but the mindsets are just different

I always laughed when the newer guys tried downplaying our accomplishments back then . “Plumber era” Almost half a million people tried out for the 2k league season 1 + so much money was on the line , + harder 2ks Vs now no league , competing for 100s of dollars, + gaming
