サミームーサさんのElysiumって一昨年くらいから世界の一流オーケストラでよく聴く。現代音楽？ではかなりの頻度で演奏されてる気がする。 タイトルがブルックナーとかベートーヴェンを思わせて厨二心をくすぐられる

Just heard a STUNNING premiere of a new work by Samy Moussa, played by the Pittsburgh Symphony. What a gorgeous arc of drama and patient blooming of material. Wowee some days music is just so freaking cool :)

10/9リンツ新大聖堂にてポシュナー＆オーストリアユースらによるブルックナー《ミサ・ソレムニス》《テ・デウム》、サミー・ムサの《Elysium》を聴いた。 残響が4-5秒近くありポリフォニックが多い前半のミサソレは響きが団子状態で馴染みの薄い曲だけに余計に朧げな印象💦#ブルックナー

→当夜は休憩がなくミサソレに続きベルリン在住の40歳作曲家サミー・ムサのリンツ初演になる《管弦楽のためのElysium》 ホモフォニックな響きの塊が転調を重ねて上昇していく様（時折HrやTpの咆哮が強い光芒の如き！）は大変美しく、それが聖堂の長い残響と相まって深く感動した🥹

Two vastly different hero journeys w/ BBC Symphony Orchestra & Chorus under H. Lintu: a search for transcendence in Samy Moussa’s futuristic Elysium; a reflection on the triumphs & struggles of heroism in Strauss’ Ein Heldenleben. The beautiful violin-horn duet in the Strauss finale brought me to tears!

I adore Huw Watkins and Timo Andres ‘ music. It is an honour to bring it to my homeland Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra next month.

昨日のプレミアムシアターでやってた、『ベルリン国立管弦楽団　ティーレマン　音楽総監督就任記念演奏会』 最初のサミー・ムーサ作曲の『エリジウム』はホールで聴いたらどんなふうに響くんだろうって思える良い曲ですね😊

今秋ティーレマンがサミー・モサの《Elysium》を日本に携えてくるかわからないが、作曲者のXによると2021年ティーレマンがVPOで初演している曲で、ブルックナーとの組み合わせだった。私も昨年秋はポシュナー＆オーストリアユースOによるブルックナー《テ・デウム》との組み合わせで聴いた。

→ティーレマンは2024年10月にも新たな手兵となったシュターツカペレ・ベルリンともこのサミー・モサ《Elysium》を取り上げている事からも察せられるようにお気に入りの曲のようだ。昨年同じ時期にリンツの大聖堂で豊かな残響に包まれながら聴いた法悦の響きは忘れられない。youtube.com/watch?v=l3Dr4N…
