Finding a great mentor is the hard part, but once you have one, they will convince you to believe in yourself and that you can achieve anything.

the best thing i’ve learned in the 1st yr of my phd is to listen to my body/mind for when it can and can’t work. sometimes that means having 3 or 4 day work weeks and either way - things get done! i feel like that has made me overall more productive than just pushing non stop 🌱
