“The country can unite around a simple, powerful and practical idea: give Indigenous people a Voice. Other Australians won’t lose anything by including a Voice in our Constitution. And there is so much to gain.” newsroom.unsw.edu.au/news/social-af…

Tomorrow you're being asked to recognise First Nations people in the constitution. A Voice to Parliament is the way forward. Let's move forward as a united Australia. #VoteYes #HistoryIsCalling #VoiceToParliament

Referendums are a question of Principle. Detail is legislated in Parliament after the fact. Asking for more detail is a hole-in-the-bucket argument - you can never bring them enough. Its a deliberate tactic by the Opposition to derail Indigenous advancement.

The Voice is a practical improvement that aims to end poor policies and wasted public money, and help close the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, says A/Prof. Sean Brennan (Sean Brennan). Authorised by Alison Avery for UNSW, Sydney bit.ly/3Fgjj2g

A decade ago, the government of the day asked us “what does meaningful recognition look like to you?” That question led us to the Regional Dialogues, the biggest consultation of First Nations peoples in Australian history. The Uluru Statement from the Heart was born from this

I'm an Indigenous person and like most other Indigenous people, I will be voting YES in the referendum. Aboriginal voices matter and deserve to be heard, particularly on issues concerning Aboriginal people. This is quite literally what this referendum will achieve. #Yes23

We came together this afternoon at the Cairns Esplanade with one clear message before tomorrow's vote. YES! YES for the next generation.

Whether you’ve dedicated decades or minutes to the simple question being posed today, this referendum is a precious opportunity to move closer to becoming one country. Voting YES will enable much needed improvements in health, education and justice outcomes for Indigenous people.

People who moved the nation. Some have passed since May 2017, some are ailing. On that day, all of them were full of hope, full of pride for what had been achieved. A national consensus on constitutional recognition. Watch this and then please vote Yes.

The government is throwing money away on First Nations programs that aren't effective. The Voice to Parliament will stop that. #VoteYes #VoiceToParliament #HistoryIsCalling
