Students come to Community College of Philadelphia to change their lives. It is in the interests of all Philadelphians and Pennsylvanians to more fully invest in them— to meet the promise that all community colleges in the state were founded with. A promise that has been broken for over 4 decades.

What we’re asking for is not extreme. In fact, after decades of disinvestment in our members and students, what we’ve called for isn’t enough— but it would be an overdue step in the right direction. We need real raises, increased staffing and more support for Community College of Philadelphia students
