#NLwx warmth today concentrated in central and the east. Final maximum for the day at Gander #YQX was 22.4°C; highest temperature since September 17. St. John's #YYT topped out at 18.4°C; warmest since October 1.

Could be a while before a list of temperatures top these, but only time will tell. The 35.4°C at Terra Nova not only ties its all-time local record, it marks the warmest ever recorded during June at any official #nlwx station on the island of Newfoundland. 🌡️
