Our colleagues in experimental physics here at Maynooth University are hiring a lecturer in climate / atmospheric physics. Great opportunity and candidates would be more than welcome to also affiliate with ICARUS Maynooth. Closes 26th. universityvacancies.com/maynooth-unive…

We were very saddened to hear of the passing David Pugh. David had a great interest in Irish sea levels and worked very closely with us in the last 4 years. We were on a quest for Ireland's historical sea levels..which meant lots of pointing at benchmarks all around Ireland (1/3)

Speak of the devil! Putting the slides together as we speak. I'll be talking about this first survey as a climate baseline for Irish sea level rise.

Getting excited for CIG 2023. We've a blockbuster day of coastal talks + panel discussions on Wednesday in Ballroom 2. Sessions on coastal processes, impacts, and adaptation. Followed by a session on Nature Based solutions.
