Today we opened our two day Optical Biology Symposium at ChampalimaudF along with UCL PhD students! Highlights of the day included keynote talks on modern imaging approaches, a tour of ChampalimaudF, and a fruitful poster session from students from the three institutes!

Building on this, students from @IGCiencia UCL and ChampalimaudResearch spoke on topics ranging from behavioural neuroscience to transcriptional regulation during cell division. To close this wonderful symposium we enjoyed a beer together while watching Portugal win at @EURO2024! 🇵🇹🔬

Exciting times ahead! The 2023 IBB PhD cohort presented their projects at the annual workshop to the entire institute last week.🧑‍🔬 Very thoughtful projects that will no doubt push the boundaries of existing knowledge in their respective fields, well done to all! 🧬⭐️
