Mass gatherings can cause wide scale effects on health. @MinofhealthUG World Health Organization (WHO) Seed Global Health are holding the first ever after-action review of a mass gathering in Africa. Experience from the Uganda Martyrs day gathering will inform the mass gatherings management framework development


"This year’s Martyrs day commemoration attracted almost 4 million pilgrims. We held a medical camp for health promotion & screening and also treated emergencies. Having a standard framework to guide future mass gatherings is critical.” Dr. Dr. Henry. G. Mwebesa Ministry of Health- Uganda.
