Union busting is undermining a union’s efforts. Critiquing a union’s action plan in the middle of negotiations is union busting. I strongly believe in workers rights so we will not see eye to eye on this. She was wrong to do this & to put a member on the spot against their union.

Aside from this being tacky on Essence’s part, I’m so tired of seeing Black media chase trends. Especially that “clap back” style of reporting/writing. Someone should want to be innovative and bring something new/fresh to the scene.

You can’t be a legacy publication, building off of decades of Black literary and editorial excellence, and blatantly declare to the world that you don’t know what a haiku is. I learned that in 6th grade.
