If you are attending #Shax2022 and want to discuss a book project for the Strode Series, please DM me and we can try to find time to meet! And if you're not attending or attending virtually, please feel free to email me to chat about ideas! Strode Program uapress.ua.edu/pages/Series-S…

My copy of #seaoftranquility arrived just in time to start reading it on the flight to #Shax2022, where I will be talking all about the work of Emily St. J. Mandel and Patrick Somerville on #StationEleven. Can't wait to see what this next Mandel adventure has in store for me!

Looking forward to auditing this seminar organized by Doug Lanier and featuring some of my superstar biofiction colleagues, @benbroadribb.bsky.social Dr Ronan Hatfull and Gemma Allred! If only we were able to do multiple seminars in one year... #shax2022

Beautiful weather and setting for the annual Shakespeare Association of America luncheon #Shax2022

Cheers and applause for @ProfFarahKC’s presidential speech at the Shakespeare Association of America #Shax2022 luncheon. I loved the symbolism of the great battleship hulking in the background. Brava! 👏

Motion that all academic discussions and QnAs end with “thank you, nerds” (in the excellent words of Adjoa Andoh) #shax2022.

Just want to take a moment to thank Patrick Somerville for waking up early this morning to talk with my Shakespeare students and the rest of the UCONN English Department about #StationEleven, Shax, working in television as an English major, and more!

Well that was the first time in a LONG time that I got fully sucked into a novel and neglected my responsibilities all day to sit still until I finished it. Thanks for #SeaOfTranquility Emily St. J. Mandel

Lockdown Shakespeare: New Evolutions in Performance and Adaptation is published by The Arden Shakespeare today! 🥳 I'm immensely proud of this volume, which it's been a real pleasure and privilege to bring to fruition with my brilliant co-editors Gemma Allred and @_erinsullivan_ /1

Congratulations, Patrick Somerville, well deserved! Your writing and engagement with/on behalf of your colleagues are an inspiration for us aspiring TV industry types.
