Nineteen (19) papers from the Philippines accepted for podium and moderated poster presentation at the GURS congress in Minnesota. Proud of my residents. The only challenge left to hurdle is applying for and acquiring their US visas on time. Pretty hard these days.

Drawing inspiration from Dr. Kulkarni’s monthly workshops, the Philippine Urological Association has started the General Urologist’s Program of Empowerment through Training (GUPET) to train general urologists in basic recon by rotating at EAMC for a month.
