We are excited to share that our climate mobility documentary; The Reality launch side event IOM - UN Migration 🇺🇳 pavilion at the ongoing #cop29 in Baku, Azerbaijan was a success! Yesterday i shared my insights on a high level session organised by World Health Organization (WHO) themed “Enhance ambition and enable action on health, migration and displacement in the context of climate change” I highlighted how climate displacement affects quality of life and wellbeing of affcted pple

While speaking at #bigtalk hosted by Canary Mugume on Next Radio 106.1FM i urged Government of Uganda to respond proactively in addressing increasing climate disasters by; 1. Investing in devt of early warning systems 2. Evacuation and planned resetlement of people living in high risk areas

3. I also encouraged the govt to earmark sufficient ammount of money in each annaul budget towards adaptation and building resilience in disaster risk areas. 4. Lastly i shared my insights on the outcomes of #COP29 and how the agreed NCQG climate finance is not enough!

I had a productive meeting with Dr. Beyer from the Medical College of Wisconsin over possible collaboration with Abayuuti Climate Action Network Our theme Abayuuti Climate Action Network this year is collaboration for climate action, and we are looking forward to working with diverse actors in the climate space. #2025
