I want to extend a sincere thanks to my advisor Dr Eden Tanner . It's been amazing to watch as new science around our discoveries is continuously being built forward. Thank you so much for taking me under your wing, teaching me everything I know, and supporting me no matter what.🙏🏽

Dr. Pedigo fundamentally changed how I learned biochemistry and enhanced my research understanding from a unique biochemical lens. She was also an amazing mentor to me, both personally and academically. I'm so lucky to have learned from her both in class and on my committee.

don't even care how cringe this tweet is, being happy for 7 months straight after nearly 10 years of depression genuinely feels like this:

Actually, here’s a hint: don’t compare yourself to your peers - compare yourself to the people in positions that you aspire to - what they did they need to do to get to that place?

It is so terribly saddening when the scientific peer review process fails and scientists are blocked due to politics and bias. I know that the work that me and my co-authors have accomplished is novel, robust, and rigorous and look forward to its eventual official public debut.

I just realized something. The reason I will carry the entire world on my shoulders until I've exhausted myself into complete burnout instead of simply asking for help is because the few times I've asked for help... I was punished for it. Just me?

The situation in the Gaza Strip is increasingly worrying and painful. I renew my heartfelt appeal to allow the entry of dignified humanitarian aid and to bring an end to the hostilities, whose heart-rending price is borne by children, the elderly, and the sick.
