UC Davis Statement Related to Student Death at Miller Hall - January 24, 2023 - It is with utter sadness that we report that a student died this morning (Jan. 24) at his Miller Hall residence on campus. Our hearts go out to the family, friends and others who knew and loved him.

This is Karim Abou-Najim. He is the victim in the deadly stabbing at Sycamore Park in Davis. Family friends tell us he was riding his bike home from his award ceremony for his research work. The 20-year-old was graduating in just 10 days from UC Davis. CBS Sacramento

I’m at a cancer treatment center getting my 27th dose of radiation. My doctor recommends 35. UnitedHealthcare refuses to pay for more than 28. I’ve fought them for weeks to get full treatment approved. This is my Hail Mary to hopefully get them to reconsider.

The funny thing about this video is that everyone who actually knows the answer is saying “this is an interesting question, and we shouldn’t shame curiosity” while all the people who don’t know the answer are mocking her.
