Have found efficiency to be a complete waste of time.

After spending a few hours trying to enrol in a university course, am thinking all students should get additional credit, just for making it through this process. Seriously.

Let's call things what they are, and start referring to anything involving 'synchronous learning' via Zoom, MS Teams, Adobe Connect etc as 'Intensive face-to-face teaching'. (And if 'video on' is mandatory, it's 'Insistently face-to-face teaching'.)

As far as I know, tomorrow's 7th strike day at University of Sydney makes this the (equal?) longest-running strike campaign by NTEU members ever. A good opportunity to look at the background actors at the university who are making our current protracted struggle necessary. 🧵
