Medical Student- Malone Mukwende, creates a medical handbook for Black and Brown people. The Second year student identified racial gaps during his studies. He explains that many resources refer to symptoms on white skin. The handbook displays signs and symptoms on darker skin.

Thank you to our first speaker Natasha Ouslis for her 👌🏾 workshop! Natasha is currently a PhD candidate in Business Psychology with a MSc in Organizational Psychology. She is the founder of NEOconsulting. Her workshop last week on building startups was invaluable for our cohort!

Our next speaker for our workshop this Wed is Anna D’Angela! Anna is a PA with an MBA specializing in Health Services Management. Her workshop will focus on providing our cohort with practical tools and tips for project management! We are super excited for this upcoming workshop!

Our next workshop series speaker is Bruce Miyashita He is the founder of The Tom and Nancy Miyashita Foundation as well as the instructor and coach at Miyashita Advisory. Bruce has a lot of experience in team leadership and we are excited to hear his wisdom and expertise!

Sarrah Lal was our workshop speaker on effective digital marketing! She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and leads programs and courses in health innovation and entrepreneurship at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine! Look for our next workshop post tmr!

Our next workshop is on Design Thinking in Healthcare. This will be lead by Lindsay Clarke and Vandan Jhaveri. Lindsay is a program manager for design and improvement at SickKids and Vandan is a project manager on the process improvement and innovation team at SickKids!
