We built an NAJ phase diagram similar to our previous NPJ phase diagram and used it to investigate how NPJ and NAJ covariability influences the likelihood of extreme temperature and precipitation events across North America! We also consider how both jets respond to SSWs!

First 2 weeks in #Antarctica flew by! Our #TARSAN team spent 4 days on McMurdo ice shelf testing out our tents and science equipment and learning about crevasse rescue. We also toured the pressure ridges near Scott Base and saw lots of sleepy seals.
