Thanks to Tom Gillespie and The Chronicle for highlighting the injustice faced by QLD landholders. Current laws don't compensate adequately for land sacrificed for community projects.

If Taylor Auerbach was a female producer who was asked to babysit an alleged rapist, who was left alone with the alleged rapist, only for the alleged rapist to introduce nudity & sex into the environment making the producer so uncomfortable they texted their boss "this is fucked"

... you know what we would call this? Workplace sexual harassment. Channel 7 must have known there was a risk (especially the second time round) that asking a producer to babysit an alleged rapist, could lead to sexual scenarios which made their staff member uncomfortable.

Up until now Taylor Auerbach has been portrayed in the media as a bit of a lad who was up for some action and having a great time hanging out with new mate Lehrmann. Have we even considered (until now) the possibility he was profoundly conflicted, ill at ease, and sick at

the prospect of having to choose between keeping his job (by not abandoning his 'babysitting' responsibilities/ keeping the ''baby'' happy) and his personal moral compass? He described the morning after as the worst day of his life and that he felt sick.

Many people have been asked to go along with situations in a bid to win a client, close a deal or secure an interview... And many people will go along... under duress, only to feel self disgust and suffer a moral injury as a result. This whole thing makes me so uncomfortable.

(As an aside i'm not suggesting Auerbach has a clean slate in other regards... I am simply pointing out a question about the responsibility of networks to their staff/ producers).
