Great op-ed from Charles Piller, but it’s not just viruses implicated in #Alzheimers - chlamydia, porphymonas, borrelia, also parasites, fungi. See Nikki Schultek and AlzPI work

Mold literally shuts down hospitals. Having found black mold in my SF apartment (landlord just shrugged her shoulders, I promptly moved out) this is really no joke but sadly common, especially in NorCal.

Few add’l thoughts: 1) this work would *never* have been funded by an NIAID study section. It was only possible with patient/private funding. 2) The construct of one, and only one, infection site (#lyme carditis, arthritis, LNB) per patient is nonsensical and should be discarded.

Huge win for the US people regarding FDA A Federal Court just massively “struck down” an U.S. FDA attempted power grab to oversee Lab Developed Tests and thus try to oversee the individual actions of laboratory physicians. The LDT Final Rule - (**a massive attempt at a power

SARS-CoV-2 spike protein binds fibrinogen, causing thrombo-inflammation, according to a recent study. The virus must bind to fibrinogen, but why? Could this relationship help the virus evolve? Could this cause post-COVID heart attacks? 1/

Some news: this was my last week at Bay Area Lyme Foundation as Research Grant Director. Building BAL and serving patients has been a profound personal and professional honor. I will be working with a private foundation but will stay involved with the community, BAL and Lyme Disease Biobank!
