We weren’t good enough yesterday in terms of attitude but you also can’t ignore that a lot of these teams outspend us dramatically. Norwich recruited over 20m worth of player this summer. It is a factor.

Very tricky this whole Murphy situation. At 30 he might get offered a life changing contract somewhere. Hard to begrudge him that. So even if we did turn down a bid what impact might that have on him personally. Trouble is it’s too late in window to get replacement in as well 🤔
