"Research Show & Share" organised by QUTmaterials was a great success. My team demonstrated advanced organic optoelectronic materials for transistors, solar cells, displays, photodetectors, sensors, strechable electronics, together with some device prototypes !!

Our first paper on ARC funded project on "Stretchable Electronics" is out. Highly conducting stretchable films prepared via VPP using PEDOT:TOs & studied in detail. Wonderful to visit my Alma Mater Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research after 20 years where I did my PhD with Prof Mullen. MPIP celebrated 40 years of completion and invited alumni to celebrate the success of this world class research institute. Very emotional to see campus.

It was fantastic to host Prof. Mats Anderson from Flinders University at QUT. Mats delivered fantastic talk on unconventionally low donor content efficient polymer solar cells and photocatalysis conjugated nanoparticles. Great to learn about homoeopathic devices QUTmaterials

It was great to host PhD student Ruicheng Li from Tokyo Institute Technology as visiting fellow for two months in our OPE group. He did some great theoretical modelling work on polyaromatic hydrocarbon candidates as HTMs for Perovskite solar cells !! QUTmaterials
