Great to catch up with Prof. Rachel Segalman, University of California, Berkley & Prof @JodieLutkenhaus from University of Texas, A&M during 38th APS conference at Auckand. Exciting lectures and great scientific discussion with future collaboration opportunities !! QUTmaterials

"Research Show & Share" organised by QUTmaterials was a great success. My team demonstrated advanced organic optoelectronic materials for transistors, solar cells, displays, photodetectors, sensors, strechable electronics, together with some device prototypes !!

Our first paper on ARC funded project on "Stretchable Electronics" is out. Highly conducting stretchable films prepared via VPP using PEDOT:TOs & studied in detail. Thanks to collaborator Drew Drew R Evans & Vithya Vithya Saahar QUTmaterials Australian Research Council onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…

Our review work on "Synaptic Ion-Gating Vertical Transistor" has been highlighted on the inside back cover image of special issue of "Organic Bioelectronics" in journal Advanced Science. Thanks to Leandro & Ali for coming up with design. QUTmaterials onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ad…

Our recent research article has been highlighted on the cover image of Solar RRL. Thanks to all authors and special thanks to my postdoc KRANTHIRAJA & collaborators Michinobu from Tokyo Tech and Chu-Chen Chueh from National Taiwan University QUTmaterials onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…

It was fantastic to host Prof. Mats Anderson from Flinders University at QUT. Mats delivered fantastic talk on unconventionally low donor content efficient polymer solar cells and photocatalysis conjugated nanoparticles. Great to learn about homoeopathic devices QUTmaterials

It was great to host PhD student Ruicheng Li from Tokyo Institute Technology as visiting fellow for two months in our OPE group. He did some great theoretical modelling work on polyaromatic hydrocarbon candidates as HTMs for Perovskite solar cells !! QUTmaterials

Many thanks to the High Commissioner India in Australia for hosting a wonderful breakfast meeting. Insightful discussions. Welcome the opportunity to advance research and collaboration between India and Australia. ! Thanks to all attendees for your participation. Prashant Sonar

It was great group meeting research project updates to Assoc Prof Girish Lakhawani from Sydney University who visited QUT last week. My group members enjoyed scientific interaction & his seminar very much. Unfortunatly I was out of station & missed it Girish Lakhwani QUTmaterials

Our second Advance Electronic Materials paper on Strechable Electronics from DP grant in press. Stretchable blend for n-type OFETs are rare and we attempted it using DPP & napthobisthiadiazole polymer with SEBS. Thanks Australian Research Council,QUTmaterials Vithya Saahar onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ae…

It was great to see our capstone students Dylan & Dev presented their capstone projects research during poster session. Hoping to encourage them for pursuing research pathway !Thanks to PhD student Tom, MPhil student Merphine & ECR Kranthiraja to be with students. QUTmaterials

Wrapped up a fantastic day in Melbourne with dinner alongside senior academics of Indian origin. Minister Jason Clare MP and I were inspired by their contributions to bilateral research projects and energized by discussions on how research can strengthen collaborations between

Great to see our collaborative work with Hongxia Wang & Anthony O'Mullane on Sustainable Perovskite Solar Cell Technology has been appeared on the cover page. Thanks to ARC Research Hub for Recycling of Battery & Consumer Waste for funding QUTmaterials …mistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…

From our organic and printed electronic group, Tom (PhD student) and Merphin (MPhil student) presented posters whereas Nail (DECRA Fellow) & Chattarika (PhD student) presented oral talks at AUCAOS 24 from QUT. Exciting organic semiconductor science brainstorming ! QUTmaterials

Very saddened to know about the demise of Sir Fraser Stoddart Fraser Stoddart. His last post was on 21 st December, just 10 days back and today we lost the gem of molecular enginnering !! Rest in peace the legend Sir Fraser Stoddart !!

Our fourth paper from DP grant published in Adv. Mat. Techn. on n-type strechable OFETs using DPP pyridine small molecules and SEBS with impressive mobility. Siloxy alkyl chain enginnering enhances performance. Thanks hard working team QUTmaterials advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ad…
