Great work from our 000 members providing critical advice while Paramedics were on their way. Next year will see a new state of the art HQ open alongside an Adelaide Ambulance Station - bringing much needed capacity, functionality and resources for our members and the community.

🌺 On this solemn day, we honour and remember the brave men and women who have served our country with dedication, putting their lives on the front line to protect others. Let us pause and reflect on the courage of our service members, past and present. Lest We Forget.

This is the fifth new or rebuilt ambulance station to open since we came into Government in 2022. This new Norwood ambulance station addresses a critical coverage gap in the city fringe suburbs - which were diverting crews away from their local areas.

Today Norwood Station was officially opened by Premier Malinauskas & Minister Picton 🚑. Norwood’s 24/7 crews will finally fill the massive ambulance blackspot in the eastern suburbs. These ongoing investments are directly improving ambulance response times for our community.

In July ambulances spent over 5,550hrs stuck on hospital ramps, the worst ever on record. This is completely unacceptable & must be a moment for the Government to stop & reassess all actions they are taking to fix ramping. Full release at aeasa.com.au.

Abuse and violent behaviour against healthcare workers increased by 43% last year. Abuse should not be part of the job. Look after those who look after us.

Last night SAAS declared OPSTAT White with up to 54 ambulances ramped across Adelaide, 17 ramped at FMC alone, some for over 7 hours. Despite this risk to our community, SA Health is set to end the Statewide Code Yellow tomorrow, despite our calls for it to continue.
