Had a great time yesterday joining the first FSBI PhD day! Varied & amazing #research presented. Such an impressive group and a real asset to fsbi. A workshop on machine learning by Ben Williams was particularly enlightening/useful! Being at London Zoo was also a treat.

There have only been 4 Directors of SCENE; on the first day of office of the 4th- Chris Harrod - the previous two - Roger Tippett (1972-1995) and Colin Adams (1995 – 2024) were there to welcome him this fantastic research and teaching field station. @UofG_SBOHVM Chris Harrod

The whole FSBI Symposium was so well organised a run, thanks to the amazing Naiara R-Ezpeleta and the AZTI team (Iraide_AA 🟣)! The bar has been set high for next year! I can't thank you enough 🙏

It feels like #FSBI2024 was a lifetime ago, now! But as we reflect on the conference, we'd like to extend further massive thanks to Naiara R-Ezpeleta, the local organising committee, the scientific advisory comittee and YOU, the conference attendees, for creating the perfect meeting!

As part of my SSHN Fellowship French Embassy in India 🇫🇷🇪🇺 The French Institute in India I was at the Station Ifremer 🌊 Palavas-Les-Flots which has some fantastic facilities for studying aspects of physiology and aquaculture of the European Seabass. Thanks to fsbi mate David John McKenzie for hosting
