I visited the Following Threads exhibition Crawford Art Gallery and its safe to say I'm obsessed with Cecilia Danell's tapestries. I was also delighted to see our neighbours C E A D O G Á N rugs inspired by Mainie Jellett there. You can't bayte the parish!

Cecilia Danell is a multidisciplinary artist from Sweden who is based in Ireland. Inspired by the Swedish primeval landscape where she grew up, the artist is interested in the psychology of place and how the natural world is depicted in speculative and science fiction novels.
