It's our Pad-A-Girl Outreach, in celebration of World Menstrual Hygiene Day! Today, we're joining forces to end period poverty and empower 500 girls to stay in school and pursue their dreams without interruptions!

Today we attempted to break the cycle of missed opportunities by teaching menstrual hygiene and debunking taboos and myths surrounding menstruation. We also provided menstrual hygiene products for 500 girls at Gbaja and Ideal Girls Senior High Schools, Lagos, Nigeria.

Thank you so much for the sponsorship, contribution and assistance for AGAH’s Pad A Girl Outreach. With your help, we were able to exceed our goal! 🥳 We acquired 1000 packs of pads and were able to supply over 500 girls at two secondary schools in our community.

To commemorate Menstrual Hygiene Day, the team at AGAH visited Gbaja Girls’ Senior high school for the Pad-A-Girl Outreach. We fostered an open dialogue on menstrual hygiene. Together, we’re breaking the stigma and empowering young girls to take charge of their health.💪💪💪
