Dementia Awareness Week 2022 💜 The aim of this week is to raise awareness, reduce stigma and help improve the lives of people with dementia, their families and carers. This year's theme is 'Let's Prevent, Care, Cure dementia together'. So, how can you get involved?

We've had great fun at Linkshouse this morning The Pier Arts Centre, to launch Gabrielle Barnby's book 'Raindrops in the Fire' A collection of poems, memories, and conversations from the Hub. We read pieces from the book, and enjoyed the beautiful space #DementiaAwareness

Lovely afternoon at Links House! Dementia Arts and Crafts group exhibited some of their work and provided opportunities to try out some art and craft. Great company and great fun! #DementiaAwareness

We had a great time at Hub yesterday with the nursery kids from Papdale. We learned some new games, and were serenaded with their favourite songs. Looking forward to seeing them again this afternoon!
