Yesterday was a good day for surveying saturated buffer and bioreactor sites for edge of field #waterquality and #conservation and today is a perfect day for touring fields seeded with our Hagie Manufacturing high clearance cover crop seeder! #Farmers, spring is here!

Spent the afternoon with the awesome congregation of Plymouth United Church of Christ discussing #waterquality, #conservation, and how citizens can get involved. Shout out to Iowa Dept of Agriculture & Land Stewardship innovative new programming 😍 Then swung by a rye field to evaluate the stand! #lovemyjob

And I’m off on my next Nuffield International Farming Scholars farming adventure! This one is the longest! Global focus program in Singapore, Borneo, Denmark, Brazil and quality time in Australia. Excited and grateful to learn about #conservation #agriculture in other countries. Here we go! #Iowa

The last few days in #Sarawak have been humid, hot, exhausting and (at times) frustrating. Wouldn’t trade the experience for the world! My Nuffield International Farming Scholars scholarship has been a highlight of my professional career thus far.
