The hunt is on. Ida Nilsson takes 5min back on the gap between her (11:26:36) and Abby Hall (11:21:01), now with only 6 min separating them at Cal-2. Ida's split for the section between FH and Cal-2 (1h17m) is only behind Katie and Courtney as the fastest in race history. #wser

Caleb Olson is the 2025 Western States 100 Western States 100 champion, finishing in the second fastest time in race history in 14:11:25. Caleb (and Daniel Jones!) join only Rob Krar, Jim Walmsley and Tom Evans as the only athletes to finish <15hr twice in their career. #seeyouatstates

Abby Hall is your 2025 Western States 100 Champion, in 16:37:16! This is the fourth fastest time in race history and Abby’s result is only the tenth time a woman has run faster than 17 hours! #wser #seeyouatstates

Western States 100 Top 10 Men's place analysis. This view does a nice job highlighting battles as well as how the race settles out over time. Epic back-and-forth between kilian jornet and Jeff Mogavero. Shoutout Kai Hirokai for going from 19 -> 10. Western States 100 Liam Dylan Bowman

Western States 100 Men's 1st, 3rd, 10th Spread Analysis. After taking a quick look at the last 5 years of 1st-10th data last week, it seemed natural to redo it with a chart version displaying the time spreads between 1st, 3rd, 10th place finishers. This view really helps

Having done some sections of the #Hardrock100 course, I’m convinced I could never finish this race. But goddammit if Dale’s “please stay standing if you’ve finished [1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20] Hardrocks” pre-race speech doesn’t get me jacked up to give it a go one day.

There were four people who completed the WSER-Hardrock 100 double this year: Chris Roberts (52h32m), Amber Weibel (54h16m), Jamil Coury (68h47m) and David Galloway (70h44m). Amber's time is the second fastest double by a woman in history, only second to Courtney's 2023 time!
