Little batting heavy with Ashwin at 9! Take out Laxman and bring in another seamer Zaheer Khan (in foreign conditions) or Bhajji (at home).

MI by now is a theme park film franchise sans any inhibitions. Largely boring but those Tom Cruise set pieces, esp the ones in air, are always worth the price of admission. What a star!

Indians need to stop virtue signalling in sports they do not understand. Carlsen had beaten Gukesh easily in their first game and was completely outplaying him again. It took a v silly blunder for him to throw away an obvious win. His reaction was natural and is common in Chess.

Congratulations Virat, you truly deserve it! As for RCB - well, I don't want to piss on your parade, but your fickle fanbases (also CSK's) will be truly tested when the two legends have left your teams. Then you'll know how many actually support you ;) Till then celebrate ur 1st!

You can submit your top ten for the NY Times 100 best movies of this century. These were mine. More a favourite than best list to be honest. Was hard to drop films like Aftersun, Holy Motors and Zone of Interest.

I have not seen the prequels, but 28 YEARS LATER is def top tier Danny Boyle alongside Trainspotting! Anthony Dod Mantle shoots almost entirely on iphones and thankfully in the hand of such a skilled Director-DOP team, it is not a gimmick! Makes it very immersive. Top stuff.

Gukesh wins a game against Magnus Carlsen. India media makes headlines out of it. Then Carlsen goes onto win that same event comfortably. Rinse. And repeat.

This week is proof that Cricket moves on. No player is bigger than the game. Tendulkar was wise. He knew once you are retired, you are retired forever. So he made sure when he left he had nothing in his tank and everythig was on the pitch. Wish someone told Virat Kohli this!

400 not out is on the Mount Rushmore of cricket alongside 99.94, 100 hundreds and 800 test wickets! One needs to be truly deserving to dislodge them! Such a class act by Mulder! Karma will get him another triple in this lifetime.

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from hell? Blue skies from pain? Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? Cold comfort for change? Did you exchange A walk-on part in the war For a lead role in a cage?

F1’s plot is pretty much a gimmick and has deep holes in it, if you follow Formula One or motorsports in general. But it compensates for that with old school heart and some kickass Hans Zimmer magic!
