Many Yale New Haven Hosp worked on this but highlighting Abinet Aklilu from Yale Nephrology who has played a local, regional, and national role in this. I remember the renal rounds where she first spoke about this topic- you inspired us then Abinet and you do so now to seek what is right.
Great to host RideForPKD Glenn Frommer today. Yale School of Medicine PKD investigators showcased their work and Glenn shared his journey and commitment to fund PKD research. Glenn will be completing his 4-month long ride this week raising $640,000 for PKD Foundation. Inspiring!!!

Great thread from F. Perry Wilson, MD MSCE on our paper on outcomes of IV meds in HTN urgencies. The message is clear: don't use! The alternatives are clear: if no TOD, adjust chronic Rx. If TOD (these data don't apply), treat with adjustable IV meds in the ICU.
.Yale School of Medicine & Yale Medicine have been chosen as a Center of Excellence (COE) by PKD Foundation. A life-threatening genetic disease, Autosomal dominant PKD #ADPKD eventually leads to kidney failure. Read more from Yale Nephrology's Dr. Neera Dahl. medicine.yale.edu/intmed/news-arโฆ
