Adore our team APPs! They are critical for patient education, efficiency, continuity of care, they help educate our residents/medical students, improve communication to other teams members including our nurses & therapists. Grateful to have them as our partners. 🥂 to you all!

If you want to drive cars, fly planes, or practice medicine, you have to take a test to get a license. Why isn’t there a test for a license to serve in public office? Start with a high school history test. You don’t pass, you can’t run. #FridayThoughts

#COVID19 is not HAPE. Don’t take my word for it, but trust these world-renowned experts in high-altitude medicine, including UW PulmCritCareSleep #AndyLuks liebertpub.com/doi/10.1089/ha…

Worked an ER shift today. No Covid. Was the same on my last shift, too. Here in NYC, Omicron has receded almost as quickly as it ambushed. Cases, hospitalizations, deaths, percent positivity and every other metric is lower than we’ve seen since November. Very, very grateful.
