Last day of training, Altcar Challenge, we didn’t bring the trophy home this year but I couldn’t be more proud of AKS and HLA Cadets who attended camp

CCF Open Evening. The weather let us down but the few pupils and parents who attended enjoyed getting to grips with everything from the laser shotguns and air rifle range to stands on First Aid, Fieldcraft and trips. Thank you to members of NWHQ CTT who helped with the event

Yesterday 12 of our cadets enjoyed a Field Day at Fulwood Barracks on an invite from Kirkham Grammar CCF where they got to shoot the L98A2, many for the first time, and finish the day off with Archery Tag. Thank you for the invite, it was much appreciated

Cadets had the privilege of mounting an Honour Guard at the VE Day 80th Anniversary Beacon Ceremony at Fairhaven Lake last night. Well done everyone

Adventure Training at Liverpool Docks. Giant Paddle boards and an inflatable assault course, as well as a Water Safety Test and Jellyfish. We also had a look round the museum. Think they will all be tired this evening
