shout outs goes to Pat (centre) who celebrated 50 years in the NHS. Pat has worked in the infusion room at the BGH but has worked in stroke, elderly medicine, medicine and even a midwife. The team has dedicated a very important tool of a nurse to her NHS Borders Sarah Horan💙

#bbcdn good point re paramedics having to go to England to find jobs. This happened in nursing in 2010/11 all of the students I mentored left scotland for jobs in England. A lower rate of pay in an unfamiliar system.
