I've had a few people ask about the Tarspotter app. Crop Protection Network is now using the Crop Disease Forecasting Tool online: cropprotectionnetwork.org/crop-disease-fā¦. The current weather pattern is low risk for tar spot, but I expect we'll see more show up in corn due to good conditions in June.



CRAZY TOP is a corn disease caused by an Oomycete pathogen. Symptoms include tillering & twisting of upper leaves. The tassel resembles a mass of leafy structures giving it a bushy appearance. Crazy top is more common in fields that are flooded early in the season Crop Protection Network
